You might have noticed our website has been redesigned and reorganized, mostly to address the needs of first-time visitors interested in Drupal. This marks the second step (first step here) of an ongoing effort to streamline Drupal.org.

In particular, the navigational elements and the site's structure have been changed to make it readily accessible. The contents of the main page has been directed to a broader (less technical) audience, focusing on news and announcements. Furthermore, the overall structure of the site's content has been worked on; most notably a feature page has been added, screenshots have been made available, the discussion forums have been reorganized, and the documentation has undergone some structural improvements.

Bear in mind this is an ongoing effort so let us know what you think of the changes, and of ways we can continue to improve the site.
