The League of Tech Voters has a code-a-thon in Austin, TX for advocacy tools. They say "we are gonna lock up 100 programmers for 48 hours and see what kind of open source software they will help write for non-profits!"

We'll start things off on Friday from 7-10pm with some short classes to introduce PHP-based Drupal and its structure. Then teams will select modules and features and run off to design and build them. We need a wide range of programming abilities, as some modules only need to be incorporated into the website structure, some need to be fixed, while others need to be written from scratch. This is free form built on the concepts from barcamp.org
