Create a banner or a T-Shirt for the EU OSCON
During the OSCON in Amsterdam, Drupal people will come together and discuss the current state and future of Drupal. To gain as much attention as possible, we need the help of graphical artist and creative copyrighters. In case you care about Drupal and want to contribute something else apart from code, handbook pages or money, please fire up your favourite word processor and/or paint program and help us out.
We have three categories for you to choose from:
- A spotlight banner for drupal.org. This one will be on the homepage of drupal.org in the upper left corner like the newsletter banner;
- One or more banner(s) that people can place on their own sites;
- A funny text for on a T-Shirt and preferably a mock-up to see what the result will look like.
Feel free to submit your work to this post, the more the better. We as a community –with Dries as the Ultimate Decisionmaker will choose who will win. There are however some rules: all your work must be free of copyright and hence may not include any copyrighted materials. So if you include a picture of windmills for the banner, that picture must as well be copyright free. The spotlight banner has to be 200 by 221 big and must fit in the style and colours of the current spotlight banners. The format must be PNG and can contain no animation.
The banner for people to place on their own Drupal site must have a standard banner size. Choices include leaderboard (728 x 90), full banner (468 x 60) , half banner (234 x 60), microbar (88 x 31) and skyscraper (120 x 600). Feel free to make animated banners if you think this ads value and use any color at will.
The last category is the text for a t-shirt. It is preferred to have only one side printed and in one colour. It might contain a Drupal logo and something (creative!) with the Netherlands or the OSCON. Letting the DrupalIcon smoke something isn’t considered creative. See an example of a shirt for the OSCON that was held in Portland.
Now its time to help us out, be creative and upload your pictures here or use inline tags to your images. Everlasting glory and a t-shirt for the winner and runners-up!
