Normally I wouldn't announce a party so far in advance, but people are already buying plane tickets and booking hotel rooms for DrupalCon 2011 and SXSW Interactive 2011 (SXSWi).

If you use Drupal on a regular basis, you need to go to DrupalCon, and if you're looking to stay ahead of the latest trends in digital/interactive media, you need to attend SXSWi.

DrupalCon ends on Thursday March 10, SXSW Interactive begins on Friday March 11 and runs until Tuesday March 15. With 4000+ projected attendees for DrupalCon, and 14,000 projected attendees for SXSWi, you should get your tickets now. Those Chicago to Austin flights are going to fill up!

So that our fellow Drupalers will have a day or two to recover, we'll be hosting the party on Monday the 14th -- the second to last day of SXSWi. The party will be held at Elysium -- just three short blocks from the Austin Convention Center.

I'm a big-time fan of San Francisco's Chapter Three, and am honored that they'll be joining us for the party at SXSW. I hope you'll join us as well.
