Introducing Feedmine
There are plenty of website feedback collection services like GetSatisfaction, but for me they've always been… unsatisfactory. If you already have a ticketing system for your project, why use yet another tool and segregate your content across multiple services?
Today I'd like to introduce a new tool to enter the fray: Feedmine. It's designed for businesses and organizations who already use Drupal and Redmine and don't want or need another system to manage.
Feedmine is actually an older software project that a we took over and rewrote from scratch for our clients at Exaltation of Larks. The only thing that we decided to keep was the original description:
Feedmine is a Drupal feedback interface to Redmine, a Rails-based ticket / issue management system. When enabled, its interface allows users to enter website feedback information that is submitted as an issue into Redmine automatically so that the issue can be tracked, assigned and handled effectively.
Unlike the original version, the new 2.x branch uses the Redmine REST API. I look forward to talking about it at the project management session at this week's DrupalCamp Ohio.
