Alpha Status for the Project Management Module for Drupal 7
I am pleased to publicise to the Drupal Community the first alpha release of Project Management Module for Drupal 7 (being tested by over 200 of you already).
“Project Management” is the next generation of a module for Drupal 6 called "Storm".
We decided to change the name during the port to Drupal 7.
The change represents part of an ongoing effort to integrate the module more closely with Drupal APIs, reducing the amount of custom code and nuances.
The alpha release is, as the name describes a release with the port complete, but with known bugs and a feature set that may change.
Credits
Project Management is one of the few contributed modules now that is not officially sponsored by a Drupal Shop (instead all development is voluntary).
Please join me in thanking all of the people who have contributed to this port, whether through coding, testing, documentation or simply giving encouragement in the issues queue.
What next?
Next we will be ensuring a clean upgrade from Drupal 6 Storm installations, as well as working further on integrations with Field API.
