With the current feature freeze of Drupal 5.0, it seems a good time to startup some marketing actions. A lot of people give presentations about Drupal in their country. A couple of these people work for a company that is delivering a service based on Drupal and hence will use a presentation template based on their corporate style. But a lot of us are presenting Drupal to a wider audience while not having a standard presentation or even a standard template (layout).

To fill the need of those people, we hereby call upon the creative people that have been hacking Drupal themes, Drupal banners and Drupal templates, hack a nice Drupal template for a presentation! In fact we would like to see two thing:

• Make a standard template, for example in Impress “format”. This design should preferably be based / inspired on the current Bluebeach theme. It should also be free of copyrighted material and be distributed under a CC licence, for example the Creative Commons Attribution -NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.5 License
• Content! Make some slides regarding Drupal; the community, the code or the history. These slides can be in any open format (e.g. RTF, HTML) and can be incorporated into a template later.
