Continued from my previous blog entry, Responsive Images and Effects for Drupal 7, I will discuss visual effects that can be applied to images and responsive displays.

When working with image styles in Drupal 7, there are many types of visual effects that can be applied to responsive displays. Some examples include: Cropping; Desaturation; Watermarks; Canvas Effects; etc.

As a continuation to my earlier blog entry, today we'll dive a bit deeper into the hacked! module, and make sense of the reports and procedures surrounding this module.

But baby it's cold outside...seeing as today we're hunkered down in a blizzard, it seems like a great time to reflect on 2013 and consider web strategy for 2014.

For those of us in New England, today is a day we are hunkered down in blizzard-like conditions pondering thoughts of the new year and what it has in store.

Here at Isovera, we manage quite a few Drupal sites. Many that we’ve built ourselves, soup-to-nuts so to speak, and plenty of others that we’ve inherited from other agencies or in-house teams.

Superuser or root? The choice is up to you, but make sure to give thought to naming conventions for your first user account (UID1).

Call it a "site audit" or a "health check", from time to time we all should take a look at our Drupal installations and see how much of a mess we have made.

Much like we need to visit our doctors for a checkup, it's a good idea to do the same for your Drupal site. Take some time to make sure things are nice and healthy, and don't skip that yearly audit.
