It has been a weekend in the spirit of headless Drupal, front-end optimizations and server side hacks. The result is I updated my blog to Drupal 8.

So, I just upgraded my first site to Drupal 8. Yup. It's in production right now. And it has an animated gif front and center.

So when I first realised that I was neglecting this blog, I somewhat found comfort in that at least it hadn't been a year, right? OK, so now it has almost been a year.

Where I work, we have some bigger clients where we have some advanced integration systems with their accounting systems, stock control, exports to old windows systems, and the list goes on.
